Authenticity is the foundation of everything we sell. This policy explains how we verify every watch and diamond before it reaches you, and what protection you have if something is ever found to be otherwise.
Our Authenticity Guarantee
Every watch and diamond sold by Time Supply NYC is guaranteed 100% authentic. If any item we sell is ever conclusively proven not to be authentic, we will provide a full refund of the purchase price.
How We Authenticate Every Piece
Serial & Reference Verification
Every watch's serial and reference numbers are checked against manufacturer records before it's listed for sale.
Movement Inspection
Movements are opened and inspected by experienced watchmakers familiar with each brand's specific calibers.
Case & Dial Review
Case construction, dial printing, and finishing details are compared against known manufacturer specifications.
Diamond Certification
Lab-grown diamonds are verified and sold with recognized gemological certification confirming origin and grading.
No piece is offered for sale until it has passed this full authentication process. Pieces that do not meet our standards are not listed, regardless of the source.
New vs. Pre-Owned Authentication
New watches purchased through authorized channels are authenticated as part of standard intake, confirming the piece matches manufacturer specifications and documentation. Pre-owned watches undergo a more extensive process, since these pieces arrive without the same chain of custody as new inventory — including full movement inspection, serial verification, and a detailed condition assessment before any pre-owned piece is offered for sale.
Documentation
Where available, we provide original box, papers, and warranty cards with a purchase. For pre-owned pieces that no longer have complete original documentation, authenticity is instead confirmed through our own inspection process, and we will always disclose what documentation is and isn't included before you complete a purchase.
Third-Party Verification
We welcome independent verification of any watch you purchase from us. If you would like to have your purchase inspected by an independent, certified watchmaker or authorized service center, we're happy to support that process and stand behind our authentication in the unlikely event a discrepancy is identified.
If an Item Is Ever Found Not Authentic
We ask that any authenticity concern be supported by documentation from a qualified, independent source, such as the manufacturer or a certified watchmaker, so we can investigate and resolve the matter appropriately.
